The Prince Rupert and District Chamber of Commerce is a non-partisan business organization. We are not affiliated with any political party or any level of government. We are the voice of business for the North Coast, and on behalf of our 260+ members, we advocate for your needs to municipal, provincial and federal governments, and we actively participate in Public Policy development.
Our members range from small, home-based businesses and solopreneurs through to the largest employers in our region. Almost all industries that exist in the region are represented in our membership.
The diversity of our membership gives us solid authority when advocating for public policy that will enhance the business climate and community in the areas. Legislators and regulators give credibility to the Chamber as the voice of business for the North Coast, representing the business community as a whole as opposed to advocating in favour of special interests or specific industries.
